The Sovrata security pedigree: Senetas, nearly three decades of certified encryptors
Sovrata is built by Senetas, the Australian security engineering company listed on the ASX as SEN.
Senetas’ certified encryptors have protected government networks for nearly three decades, and are distributed in more than 60 countries.
Sovrata brings that security expertise to fully integrated confidential AI governance across your company’s data and AI conversations. One policy engine connects data classification, access decisions and approved model routing, with audit evidence on infrastructure you control.
Founder and CTO
Rob Linton
Rob founded Podzy and SureDrop, acquihired by Senetas in 2015, with the acquisition completed February 2017.
He began 1997 as a RAAF officer cadet in pilot training and withdrew eight months in. Eight months in uniform was enough to learn how defence thinks about trust.
He has been on the audit side of security, not only the building side: he personally ran a security audit for Tumut Shire Council, now Snowy Valleys Council. That first-hand look at governance and compliance is part of why Sovrata is built to be audited, not just to pass one.
